From our 50’s date at the “5&Diner” in St. Robert, Missouri.
The people there are so nice! One couple came over to chat with us for a while and before leaving said, “Are you boyfriend and girlfriend? Well, we thought you looked really cute, and we also wanted to show you [John] that we appreciate what you’re doing, so we paid for your supper tonight.”
There was also a little car show going on in the parking lot. One of the owners came over, offered to take our picture, and ended up posing us with a lot of the cars! “Open the door and slide on in! Alright, now you act like you’re helping her out and I’ll snap a picture. Okay now over here. How about a kiss, you two?” SO sweet!
