My husband and I are both active duty navy corpsman who fell in love in San Antonio Corps school. We continued on to our 1st duty station together and finally married 26 May 12.
We did our engagement photos in uniform. :) One team, one fight.

I did this piece on the very last open space this man had. And it’s really incredible that this tattoo took the spot it did. It’s a portrait of his son who passed away in Iraq several years ago.
I used the natural skin tones so it could be ingrained in him, truly a part of him.

Here is another photo of my boyfriend and I, we’re both Active Duty Marines and he’s stationed in KBay, while I on the other hand am at Camp Pendleton, the first picture was taken while they were waiting to leave… definitely one heartbreaking moment for us. I won’t see him again for about 10 months, because I deploy next this upcoming February. It’s going to be the greatest reunion, I think. <3
that first picture made me cry, thinking about that moment just makes me sad.
This is my boyfriend and I, we made it through basic and now he’s in tech school. Sometimes, I feel as if tech schools even harder because even though we can talk, he can’t just be here with me. But I know we’ll make it through.
My fiance & I seeing each other for the first time in 10 months when he came home on R&R! Best feeling in the world :D
